About Us
Christine Scott:
Christine has been working in the interior design industry for over twenty five years, and for twenty of those has been running her own successful interior design company.
Having originally trained as a teacher, Christine re-trained as an interior designer and worked as a junior for the highly renowned design company Plaskitt & Plaskitt, based in York.
She moved to Newbury with her family in 1991 and set up her own design business, working from a high street premises. The business soon flourished and moved to larger, high street premises five years later. Christine Scott Interiors was based in 54 Northbrook Street for a further 10 years, and became renowned for stocking a wide range of stylish accessories for the home as well as housing the largest collection of fabric and wallpaper books in the area.
The interior design element of the business has proved a continuing success and as the work load has increased, Christine Scott Interiors finally moved to larger studio premises from which it now operates.
Katie Brown:
Katie read Fine Art at Oxford Brookes University. After graduating and taking some time out to travel the world, she began working for Christine Scott Interiors in 2005.
Katie is a senior designer within the firm and has a Diploma in Interior Design and Interior Architecture.
